A Framework for Modelling the Electronic Medical Record System in Dunsan Hospital of Eulji Foundation

Abstract
|
|
|
This study was intended to suggest the framework for modelling the EMR system in Dunsan hospital of Eulji fundation. For this. literatures and internet concerned with the EMR system were retrieved and visited the 5 tertiary hospitals that have implemented the EMR system in Korea.
First step for a successful EMR implementation is to be achieved the master plan of hospital information system and then the EMR system should be implemented on the foundation of OCS & PACS.
Evaluation of cost-effectiveness. response time. and hadware requirement should be considered.
So. it is to be desired that install the application service for operation system because the national wide network can be used for EMR system in the near future.
Data Mart software based on the NT server will be facilitated the optimizing response time to meet user needs.
Outpatient EMRs. inpatient EMRs. and legacy EMRs are stored together in the computer depository where the data filter and validation must be done, and then. the Information Browser. SQL Query Report. Researches from the SQL driven large relational DB can be achieved.
